You'd think they'd just hire a gunslinger to play guitar while the shoulder heals, dude can still sing.

Great show, mid-80's.

Can't they just get a 9 year old to belt it out on Guitar Hero.

I deliberately looked for a pic showing Will's pale hairy gut. That's half the humour right there.

Yeah, plus you can see how he's really exploring the space in the studio.

Was thinking about buying tix to Cabin Fever Rockfest here in NS

Blue Oyster Cult, L.A. Guns, Foghat, White Lion, a few others, for $55.

Hopefully they'll be able to play in March :P

Went down to the beach to get some oysters last week and got served up a platter of blue tinted oysters. I have been eating oysters for years and had never knew that there was such a thing, I had always thought that "Blue Oyster Cult" was just a fancy name.

It turns out that there is a particular type of algae, friendly to oysters, that causes this phenomenon Link.

They didn't taste any different than regular oysters, they just were blue tinted instead of the normal white.

It must be a sad life if all you think of when you hear the name BOC is that you think of SNL.

I liked that sketch, sure, but FFS, it was a JOKE! Sure, it was a funny one, but I'd rather listen to a couple dozen BOC songs than hear that again.

Earguy: You'd think they'd just hire a gunslinger to play guitar while the shoulder heals, dude can still sing.

Great show, mid-80's.

His guitar-playing is at the core of the band's music. Hiring a "gunslinger" would be like getting some burned-out 1970s lead singer to substitute for Freddie Mercury in a Queen reunion tour. Oh, wait . . .

BTW, you should have seen BOC's 1970s shows: my ears did melt, and then my eyes (WAY-overcranked lasers).
