No, the conservatives have been clamoring for Obama to keep all of Bush's people, and THEY even got their way a little bit.

Bill Clinton's cabinet was adequately diverse, especially when you consider the cabinet diversity of his predecessors. (Madeline Albrecht anyone?) As for George W, he had impressively diverse but generally incompetent cabinet. So if Obama has the same amount of women in his cabinet and they are chosen based on their abilities and intelligence, he is doing pretty well indeed.
