I would be willing to bet someone is trying to talk axl into it since his manager has to come out to try and deny it, most likely that means axl's manager wont get all the royalties anymore if they come on board.

Velvet Revolver wasn't the worst thing ever. I enjoyed "Slither" if nothing else. There were some songs they had that were ruined by terrible lyrics though. I'd look at "Big Machine" for evidence. I'd say that a band of GnR minus Axl plus a decent vocalist/songwriter could work just fine.

Slash is done with GNR...I can't see him doing it again.

I enjoy Slash's guitar playing. It ain't great, but he's melodic.

BULLSHIAT. Axl IS (or was) Guns N Roses. His voice farking made that band. I didn't mind Velvet Revolver but without that voice... sorry, not the same. He might be an eccentric douchebag but that doesn't change the facts.

And by the way, if you listen with an open mind, Chinese Democracy is pretty decent. I dunno if it's "15 years" decent, but it's far better than alot of other garbage in rock these days.

Oh, God, he sucks! He just SUCKS! Possibly the worst "successful" drummer of all time. The guy has two fill patterns, and they're even obvious variations of each other. I can't imagine why any band would endeavour to maintain a musician who is that uncreative and boring.
