Well for the right price, I'm sure we can get his blipping name back. Just have him send an emissary over to my office.

Because being named after his asshole father isn't enough of an albatross hanging around his neck...

He could just challenge anyone to step outside if they don't give him his name back.

Honestly, Chicago needs to take hold of the moment and rid the city of the Jackson Family. If -anyone- is corrupt, it's them. They've been around too long, been involved in too many things, for them not to be corrupt.

You know, I'm getting the impression that, whatever the guy did in this case, his worst crime is his willingness to be born to Jesse Jackson and allowing himself to be given that name.

Let me get this straight.

The guy with the muslim name and middle name of our enemy will be our president;

the guy with the exact name of a well connected and extraordinarily privileged political big shot will "fight to get his name back".

WOOOOO I like living in a country where at least some of us who work hard and live clean, even named Osama Obama Tiberious Hitler, will be more successful than thieving lecherous parasites named Jesus Superman Einstein Rockefeller.

Jesse Jackson Sr had to learn to become the azz he is now... but saying he's done as much for racial equality as the grand wizard shows a supreme lack of historical perspective and a supreme helping of historical (and willful?) ignorance.

Hate the current Jesse Jackson, Sr., but don't dismiss the very real contributions of the young Jesse Jackson, Sr. Then again, people who dismiss all of Jesse Jackson, Sr., are usually the same folks who would have spat (or did spit) on integrationists. Don't be that 'usually'.

Phil Herup, I've known for awhile (from your previous posts) that you're a pretty textbook Fark IndependentTM who claims to be "libertarian" but opens his ass for the GOP at every opportunity, but even I didn't think you were THIS bad. This guy's dreaming. Everybody knows that you can google anyone's name and find something derogatory about them. It's the internet, stupid.

And he sounds like a real drama queen, himself, just like his Dad.

Politicians fundraising for each other is not automatically corrupt.

What Blago did was immoral. Jesse Jackson Jr. didn't do anything other than inquire about the terms that Rod was advertising around town.

Not flattering, I guess. But a far cry from doing anything legitimately wrong.

No, that actually makes it MORESO likely, as you get frustrated when the EXPECTED doesn't happen.

"I think that there is a disconnect between public service and private sacrifice. ... If for one moment you think that public service is also private gain, then you are trampling on very, very unsteady ground that is likely to force you and good people with good names in a very different process," he said.

Did his father ever hold public office? In the past 20 years he's done nothing but to enrich himself.

Actually, getting rid of them doesn't seem to be the Chicago way at all.

I can't say much though since I live in the district that kept voting Cynthia McKinney into office again and again. Though she wasn't so much corrupt as just flat out crazy.

I remember something about "presumed innocence" in this Country.

Farkers get in a tizzy over alleged terrorists who we KNOW have close ties to real terrorists (drivers, etc.) but you're quick to excommunicate this guy just for being a Politician in Chicago.

I thought the Obama campaign taught us not to judge people based on their name?

Why is she crazy? What's crazy about challenging the Bush administration to tell us what REALLY happened on 9/11? That administration hasn't been the model of open and honest government.

You don't know what happened on 9/11? I'll clear that up for you. Planes were taken over, piloted, and purposely crashed into buildings by islamic terrorists.

Hope that helps but somehow I just know it won't.

I work with two, two 9/11 Truthers. Egads, but there is no convincing them otherwise.

I'm not Bush's biggest fan, but I believe that the only involvement he had which would have led to 9/11 was ignoring the Aug. 6 PDB.^
