Damn, I have to agree with that one. Omar the first gay villian who was one serious thug. You wouldn't want to mess with him. And the episode where he jumped from a forth floor balcony and just disappeared was classic.


I work in Finance (not a banker, I work back of the house). Sorry if I wished business would improve, so I don't lose my job. But I understand the hate.

Villian? In a show with running themes of personal and moral compromise, Omar was the closest thing there ever was to a hero (or antihero I guess). You may find his code and morals questionable but at least he stuck to them. You couldn't say the same for a lot of other characters (even McNulty had his serial killer experiment in s5)

As much as I liked his character, he was a villian. Just another person running around the streets with a gun. And having lived in a neighborhood where shooting did happen, I'm not gonna label him a hero/anti-hero. He may have had an outstanding personal code, but that's separate from what he actually did.
