Actually, since she was a pretty devout Christian later in life (moreso than she was, previously), even to the extent of doing missionary work, I don't know if that's true.

She was of mixed emotions about her modeling past. Soon after her conversion or re-entry into Christianity she was embarrassed by her nude pictures but by the end of her life she had embraced those same pictures and was not ashamed of anything. She did feel that that opinion was a bit difficult to square with her faith however.
She did want to be remembered as a young woman and generally avoided reporters photographs when she was older.

The one picture I have seen of her in her later years still shows a very attractive woman for her age.
