good thing he called the deputies. I hope he is going to be OK. Who will pay for his counseling?

Well, I certainly wouldn't try and smoke it, and neither would any of you if you had any sense - you don't know what sort of chemical substances might have been added to that pot....

Okay, I couldn't keep that up with a straight face. D.A.R.E., thank you for giving me such humorous statements.

I would have looked at it, then thrown it in the garbage and gone back in the house.

I would have been happy to have found it, after searching the house for it.

Absolutely, you can never be too careful. For me it'd be a toss up on whether to first wrap it in some kind of flamable yet sturdy covering in the shape of a tube to ensure best air flow, or just dump parts of it into a solid metal object like a bowl and ensure it gets properly filtered through some toxin reducing agent like water.

Kid Mojo 2008-12-07 05:54:22 PM
Funny little story.

One time, I think I was a senior, my friend came up to me before 1st period. He found a bag of pot on the ground, but the Vice Principal was standing right next to it, and he didn't have the balls to pick it up. So I did... it was good stuff, and he never got his "finder's fee."

No disrespect, but that's farking stupid. I hope that bag was worth the serious risk of a felony.

A dimebag of pot isn't remotely worth it. Risk vs. reward, bro.

Cocaine on the other hand....

i find glass works better you tend to get a cleaner burn

all joking aside i think its pretty stupid he called the police, seriously if you are not going to do anything with it throw it away, its not like the time i found a vial of LSD that is something that possibly could be unsafe to just throw away

Not a bad idea... except if someone else finds it and calls it in, the cops are only going to know that someone found pot on your property. Then they get the search warrant, "find" a few pounds of pot in your house... you see where this is going.

Moses To Sandy Koufax 2008-12-07 06:00:11 PM
I would have called the swat team and had them storm my home, murder my dogs in cold blood, and unnecessarily detain my wife and mother for hours. Then, it would be determined that it wasn't pot in my driveway.

duckpoopy 2008-12-07 06:00:22 PM
That happened to me twice at an apartment complex.
1) Shortly after I moved in I noticed a 3 foot (male) plant growing among the bushes near my front door.

2) Found a suspicious black film container on the walkway. It was packed with buds.

Both were disposed of by fire.

Kid Mojo 2008-12-07 06:00:45 PM
willydwonka: felony

This word, I don't think you know what it means.

John_Rat_Safari 2008-12-07 06:01:45 PM
Drug and drink free so I would pass it onto a friend, not sure the cops would want it here in Austin, I think small amounts aren't an issue...

I definitely wouldn't ignore it though, everyone knows it's a gateway drug and before I know what has happened my driveway would be full of heroin and cocaine, and then it would start stealing from me and eventually die.

/seen it happen, driveways do it all the time.

True. I'd decide it was an opportune time to sweep my driveway.

Can you please tell me what a "vial of lsd" looks like?

fotbr 2008-12-07 06:10:01 PM
I'd decide to hose off the driveway, thereby re-gifting the bag to a neighbor downhill.

/Not interested, thanks.
//Enjoy.

The only answer is you get all high, and make fun of your kid for dropping their shiat on the driveway.

Considering the tough times we are in, I'm surprised he didn't sell it for a quick buck. Could've been the start of a beautiful recession-proof career.

Used to work at Cracker Barrel in high school as hostess and we found a baggie laying by the front door one night. I think the boss and the dishwashers had a great time later.

My friend and I found a little under an ounce on the ground at the gas station one time. I wish I could find the guy who lost it. That was some good sh*t.
