Republican officials said this week that additional clothing charges would appear on the Republican National Committee's campaign finance report totaling less than $30,000.

Totaling it all up, it cost $290,400 to make her presentable to the U.S. public.

I demand proof, even with that amount spent, that she was ever presentable.... or as Bush would say, presedentible.

Palin's effect on the campaign was a lot like her exorbitant makeup. She started with an energized base, gave interviews that made her blush, refused to let McCain concealer, and ended when the electorate told her to take a powder.

I was under the impression that this was paid for by the RNC which is funded by donations from supporters. No?

Personally I am happy to watch the GOP throw all their money down the sewer with the hope that a C.H.U.D might find it and be a suitable candidate. Great strategery! Stay that course, guys!

Didn't McCain accept public campaign funding?

I'm glad Obama spent the money we gave him in the way he did. Can you honestly say (if you are a Republican and donated) that you're happy your money when to clothing Palin's children, or paying exorbitant amounts for makeup?

========================

It was paid for by... *drumroll* republican party donations!

So if you donated to the campaign, you helped pay for her wardrobe.

Fortunately, as a taxpayer, I was mostly spared.

I bet those unemployed workers want their money back. Especially when the Obamanates use it to party on Jan 20th while their donors don't have health insurance.
