HOLY CRAP!!!!!

Subby, you just made my day, no, my year.

Un-farking-believable! Frank goes off on an improv solo that is NOT in the song. O. M. F. G. This is the best thing ever.

/ has zircon-encrusted tweazers, saw 'em at a dollar store, I HAD to have them, just had to.

Re: Roxy DVD ~ From what I've read, since the Roxy performance is tied to the venue by name, the actual Roxy is demanding royalties for the DVD, which is preventing release.

The two times I saw Zappa he did "Montana."

The second time he played the solo.

The first time it was Stevie Vai....

All you asshats have my musical tastes all wrong...I'll listen to anything from the 60's and 70's, hey, I even grew up during those decades if you really wanna know...but Zappa?...give me a farking break. A bunch of masturbatory crap produced by an over-inflated ego. You want avant-garde?...I'll take The Residents...jazzy progressive rock?...I'll take King Crimson...some down and dirty rock and roll?...Jimi Hendrix...anything but that cacophony of crapola you call music.

frostus [TotalFark] 2008-12-04 03:10:24 PM
I grew up in the sixties myself and enjoy the bands you mentioned. How you can have fairly decent taste in music but still not recognize Frank's talents is beyond me. You need to listen again.

I got yer cacophony, right here. (pops)

Actually, just GTFO.

WTF are you doing in here? We obviously all love the man's music. Why do you feel the need to call it crap? No one's saying King Crimson is crap. We just might prefer Zappa.

As Zappa said on the Today Show, "There's no accounting for taste." Or lack of.

PumpUpDaFark 2008-12-04 03:15:36 PM
Sorry, frostus, but David Gilmour on Comfortably Numb trumps that. Got another one?

Seriously, just look at that face on Sheik Yerbouti. Doesn't it cry out "douchebag" to you? Every time I see his face, I get the urge to punch someone's face, preferably his.
