I'm sorry. Is there something written in invisible code in this article that concerns Lionel Richie?

Subtard should really include an:

so people on Fark will get what the headline means. Otherwise the subtard remains subtarded.

I don't get the headline, but Gary Moore's version of "Shapes of Things" still rocks my world.

The trial went on almost as long as that note in Parisienne Walkways.

It's a bit hard to prove that someone copied the solo from a song that never was released on tape or CD and only got played on radio for a short while. The youtube video of the song sounds _just_ the same as the Still Got the Blues, but that was a pretty recent recording.

In the end, no one accused Mr. Moore of deliberately copying the solo, they just assumed he had heard it and replicated it 16 years later...

Incidentally, that would make us Germans be responsible for the poor downturn of Gary's career, as he made some pretty rockin' albums before but since SGtB, it's all lame white boy blues (and even some pseudo-indutrial sounds, if I don't confuse him with another artist).

/Nuclear Attack FTW
//Never heard of the German artist. He's no Hasselhoff.

Good thing Grieg, Beethoven and Lizst are all dead - if alive today, they'd be facing numerous lawsuits from backwoods folk for "stealing" their traditional melodies and turning them into timeless masterpieces.

That "song" was a blemish on an otherwise ripping album with amazing guitar work. I recognized the rip-off the moment I first heard the song. But WOW the guitar work on the rest of the album.

I don't care if it is stolen, Gary Moore plays it way better than the original. Waaaaaaaaaay.
