in our area of the country this rumour was edgar winter for some reason. i didnt find out about the nicks variation til much later, but it seems to be more popular.

His latest tour was very good, too. I'm kind of surprised he's touring with Fleetwood Mac again so soon (though they probably gave him a couple of bags of money to convince him).

They should tour with Half o' the Who.

Peter Green wanted to donate ALL the band's money to a religious group. Yep, I'd say that qualifies as being nucking futz.

Then Jeremy Spencer said he was going out for a magazine one day and never came back. Turns out he had joined the local Children of God chapter. Also nutz.

Anyway, as band gossip goes, Fleetwood Mac has been the most interesting band I've ever known anything about and I've followed them since Kiln House. Fights over ownership of the name, drug abuse, adultery (within the band no less), fights over song inclusion on albums, etc etc. Makes the Lennon-McCartney feud seem like a minor disagreement.
