Man, does this band ever get an undeservedly terrible rap, especially the early part of their career. They wrote some very good pop songs that were obviously influenced/borrowed/stolen from the Lennon-McCartney canon. Big whoop. They did it well and still left enough of their own fingerprints on their material to call it their own. If hating bands is what you have to do when the guys in the band are dicks, then no one would like anything.

Those shoddy albums must be from another band because Oasis made some great music back then. Their more recent stuff is still good but Be Here Now is still one of my favorite albums by any band.

They made relatively simple pub rock. They're almost the British equivalent of a more talented Nickelback, just "borrowed" heavily from a different genre and demonstrated they can at least make more than one song.

I enjoy a lot of Oasis' music. They are a pretty talented group of people actually, now if only they could keep their mouths shut.

they barely back up the shiat they talk-- and being a band that admitedly isnt doing anything new-they are sure being creative. they are like ac/dc-you know what your gonna get when you buy an ac dc record.

The only one I'd disagree with is Kid Rock. He's a talent musician, just has trouble with composing and lyrical work. I mean, a talented musician would be someone able to play every instrument in a band, correct?
