I wish someone gave enough of a shiat to do this with Amy Winehouse, being as she actually has TALENT. Instead, all of the spineless mongoloids in her life are just going to click their tongues and say, "oh, dear" until they find her face-down in a storm drain.

Didn't RTFA, but I'm sure her record company is playing a big part in this. She's under contract to deliver a product & it's in their best interest to keep her on the straight & narrow until she meets those obligations. It's not like she's the only celeb that has a hired sober shaparone at their side.

It upsets me, though, that they spend that much effort on her because she made a lot of money looking pretty a decade ago. I'm sure there are thousands of people who have more to give to society that would benefit from being nannied. One wonders what would have happened to her had she not landed that first record deal.

That's what she needed from the beginning. Most of her problems came from people pretending to care about her while exploiting her for their own benefit. They didn't care if the trainwreck just kept rolling.

They probably need to do MUCH more to make sure she doesn't hurt herself, or others.

They better replace all of her metal cutlery with plastic sporks, put clear labels on jars and bottles, indicating which way to turn the lids, and better of lots of "this side up" stickers. I have a feeling Brittney could always use more "this side stickers." She's got lots of stuff.
