Kill 'em All was released 25 years ago. That's pretty darn old in the music industry.

/Saw Metallica a few weeks bag, killer show.

High Voltage was released 8 years before that.

/I don't see how this is worthy of the Fail tag
//even by today's standards, AC/DC's stuff from the 70s and Metallica's stuff from the 80s is pure win
///hell, anything by those two is pure win (except all of St. Anger and some of Load/ReLoad)

The tag is for the article, not the bands.

Old can be good. AC/DC have played the same alum for decades, fortunately it's a good sound.

LOL, Rump swabs? Sounds... clinical.

Anyhoo, I'm on the verge of a good buzz or a super-duper foul mood. I'll just go ahead and use this thread as an excuse to search youtube for AC/DC videos. I'll start with this one: Pure sex (new window)

Metallica could put out the best album ever and I would never buy it because they're a pack of ungrateful ingrates who turned on their fans and are no longer cromulent.

AC/DC was creatively done after Bon Scott died.

But they were both great in their time, which was back there somewhere.

\no, I don't care about new music. There's too much old music to catch up on.
\\get off my lawn.

I saw AC/DC with Bon and Metallica with Cliff

/off my lawn seats

I bow to a better and longer concert goer than me.
I didn't get going until Judas Priest's Turbo tour.

But I tried to make up for it.
I got behind the scenes a lot, and met many of them.
Helps having a friend that looks like a Penthouse Pet,
ooo...the stories I could tell you of the messes I got into with her...
