There will never be a presidential candidate who is both pro-choice and an NRA supporter. There will never be a candidate who wants universal healthcare and closed borders.

If they truly mean anything to you, fight for them. Build a framework for them to be implemented in the next lifetime. It's kinda like the old mean boss leaves and the new boss rises up from the workers, and the workers think life is gonna be a carnival now that he's in there. We're still gonna have to show up for work on time and not take too many breaks. I feel like most of his supporters understand this.
