They should. This is a site pretty much dedicated to finding the joke in any news story, and that woman is a total joke.

What's the problem?

He's still hurt that McCain/Alaska's Idiot didn't win, and is probably preparing for an Idiot/Plumber run for the White House in 2012.

On his run though, do Arizona farkers think he'll have an easier time or more difficult time after losing a presidential election?

Palin is the reason McCain did as well as he did. If McCain of 2000 was running in 2008, he'd win easily.

He needs to go home. He lost. It's over. A-hole is a cancer on the republican body politic. And a double cancer for pushing Palin on us, a sure guaranteed loser in 4 years. Good christ, there is no alternative party. The one we had got it's ass punched in and doesn't know if it wants to reach across or fight.

I voted for McCain because Palin was on the ticket. She wasn't the smartest VP out there, but without a doubt she was the one with whom I could best relate. She was more typically American out of any of the others.

Schadenfreude ist die schoenste Freude: On his run though, do Arizona farkers think he'll have an easier time or more difficult time after losing a presidential election?

Nate at FiveThirtyEight seemed to think he'd be in tough if the Democrats ran current-Governor Janet Napolitano against him, which makes sense. But, since she's (apparently) Obama's pick for Secretary of Homeland Security, that's unlikely to happen now. In which case--and barring something big or unexpected--McCain will probably take it in a walk.

I have a great degree of confidence she is smarter than most Americans, probably more than most members of congress and I'm sure she's comparably intelligent compared to the other 49 governors. She didn't have an elitist upbringing or education--she's basically a blue-collar success story.

Personally, I think she's despised because of all of the following are true: She's a Republican, she's pro-life, and she's a former beauty pageant model. Those traits go strictly against everything modern feminism preaches, and so there's a social imperative to denigrate her, even to the point where some critics were denying her womanhood. She's being made an example of so that other Republican women fear to ascend in the 'wrong party'.

That's my 2¢, anyway.

Leaders are not supposed to be average, or in her case below-average. They are supposed to be exemplary. They should be the best and the brightest society has to offer. They should be well educated, have graduate degrees, and importantly, have their religious views as far away from their political ones as possible.

What they should not be is a half-wit beauty queen who went to 5 colleges in 6 years to get a f*cking degree in broadcast journalism and managed to f*ck up every position she has ever held in public office.

I hope Palin is the 2012 Republican Nominee, just so I can watch the Republican Party lose the Presidential race again. If the GOP considers her the best candidate they can nominate from a whole party of more worthy candidates, then they deserve to lose.

Here's Palin in a video where, after she had pardoned a turkey to spare its life for Thanksgiving, proceeds to be interviewed in front of a farmer slaughtering the rest of the unfortunate birds who weren't so lucky. Yeah, she's a keeper!

What's too crazy? This?

Is anyone the least bit bothered these liberals are poised to bail out the Automakers and preserve a system where employees are kept on the job to do nothing at 60 bucks an hour. Yep, it's in the contract. Some schmuck waitress in Indiana must feel great knowing she'll be paying taxes so some fatass can pull 60 bucks an hour to do nothing. Nothing. Zip. Zilch. Nada. God I love this country.

It's called workbank and it actually exists today. Obama and the democrats who are beholden to unions and therefore the "Big" 3 are obliged to help the corrupt system with our tax money. If this actually happens we are headed for something akin to the Teapot Dome Scandals of the 20's.

Speaking of banks, work and otherwise, now we have Robert Rubins or is it Ruebens, who basically ran Citibank into the ground accepting a job back in government. The foxes are literally running the henhouse. Where this is headed who can say.

Interest rates are zero for banks today and yet they charge 18-23% for their money. Does that strike anyone as odd?

Unless something drastic is done in the way the media is run, you can't succeed if they don't like you. They don't like Palin and because she's bush league in the way she's handled, they pull all sorts of tomfoolery on her. Before I had seen the video and only read the laughing comments I figured it was exaggerated. That she just had the fenced in birds behind her and they squawked and that was it.

Then I watched the video as that guy (who kept staring intently at the camera) brought bird after bird, slit their necks and drained them into a blood pan.

I haven't laughed that hard in a long, long time. I'm as far from vegetarian as you'll find, but what the hell lady. That has nothing to do with "affirmation of hunting and acknowledging where our food comes from" and everything to do with lack of tact.

I mean that video is a prime example of "lack of tact"
