They did say that the pigs are sedated, so it shouldn't be that terrible for them. But, it's still pointless, and to a degree cruel. The pig should at least get to choose its own tats.

Meh, the (sedated?) pig in the video didn't seem to care one bit. I could see how someone who raises pigs might enjoy doing this - as good of a hobby as any other. And it seems like a good way for new tattoo artists to get some practice as well. I can't imagine paying to have a pig tattooed though; that is worse than purse-dogs.
