I went to the Body Worlds exhibit when it came to my city, and it was really ... really awesome. The real eye-opener was the separate room that housed a woman who was just about to give birth when she was plasticized and it showed how far up your organs are pushed when a woman's that pregnant, and the little baby was still inside. It was just ... really powerful.

The most visually stunning aside from that was the giant horse with two people riding it, and one of them was holding a brain. There were also lungs that were ravaged by smoking and second hand smoke, cross-sections of arms from a 300 lb person, stuff like that. It was pretty inspirational. One of the techs at the Space and Science Centre (or .. what are they calling it now? Telus world of science? whatever) said there should be a stop smoking + gym sign up booth next door for all the people that were convinced to stop smoking and whatnot.

But one of the most baffling things was in the comment book where someone actually wrote "You people are sick for coming to this!" Sooo .. they paid $25 and walked through the whole thing, knowing what it'd be like and took the time to write it down? Ugh. But one of my friends had a fun comment: "I never want to see my own organs x_x"
