Excellent. It doesn't sound like the mastering/compression are going to be squashed all to hell like on the last CD.

Thanks subby.

You can't fark with the boss.

Born in the USA was my favorite record as a kid.

Now that I'm older, I actually understand/relate to it.

Springsteen is one of the only truly mainstream artists I like and whose catalog I proudly own. This new single sounds like class Bruce and I can't wait for the new album.

is there a (legal) download of any songs like with the last album?

So since 2005 he's released:
Devils and Dust
We Shall Overcome - The Seeger Sessions
Live in Dublin
Magic
and now a new album in January

To everyone else making music...what the hell's taking you so long?

I recommend listening to the recently released live version of The Ghost of Tom Joad with Tom Morello sitting in. The guitar solo at the end kicks all sorts of ass. It's on YouTube but I'm too lazy to link.

Link (new window)

no im not from the UK, just too lazy to change it

anyways, a fore mentioned solo

this is the greatest "duet" ever

Who cares?

More bland noodlings from a song writer past his prime.
As far as Tom what's-his-name from that POS band 'Rage against the Machine'?

You gotta love RICH 'Marxists'!
They're so cute with their hypocrisy and all.

Dylan is still the best.

I dare you to see Bruce and The E Street Band live and then tell me ANY of them are past their prime. I saw them twice this year and I literally had chills running down my spine the crowd was so electrified.

Dude, Ive been seeing him since 1978. That's 30 years if you went to public school.

He DOESNT perform like he did then, but that wasnt my point.

My point is that his writing is past it's prime. He needs to retire. Old people can't rock, except for Keef, and Bruce is fast approaching (if he isnt already) 60.

Yeah, Clapton doesnt rock either, but then he never really did.

Just to get that out of the way.

Oh goodie, we're recycling 20 year-old Bob Dylan jokes (jokes old enough to vote!) for Broooce.

Lovely.
