How much drugs does a person have to do to make the likes of Slash and Duff McKagen look at you and say "Man, you got a problem."?

Maybe when they're inducted in the R&R HOF, but that's a big maybe. He's a mess and probably can't play as well as he used to.

I have a dream of nailing Charlize Theron. Something tells me my odds are way better.

Actually, all of original GnR have wanted to do GnR for years now, except Axl.

He's the problem, just like always.

It isn't his fault - he's afflicted with lead singer disease.

Oh, and PhiloeBedoe (just so I can avoid posting twice in one thread), that's a great point. I've always wondered the same thing about Metallica firing Dave Mustaine way back in the day. I think Mustaine in turn fired somebody else from Megadeth for the same reason, so I have to wonder whether drug habits are the real issue.

Maybe they can start a band called "Duff and Slashes" or something, hire a new (less egotistic) singer that sounds similar... and go crazy.

I hear Robert Plant isn't doing much these days.

Maybe they could call it 'Velvet Revolver'

I'm sorry, guess I should've included "hire a less douchebaggy tool" in the lead singer qualifications.

Unfortunately being a douchebag is a requirement to be lead vocals in all the rock bands I know.

/Sometimes you just have to let things die. I think this is one of those times...

Even post-stroke, I bet he's still better than Matt Sorum.

Matt Sorum is great.

I wonder if Adler even realizes that 'Guns N Roses' is only Axl now, and Axl is still (somewhat) continuing to put out music under that name. also, even if Axl, Slash, Duff, and Izzy ALL wanted to get back with Steven Adler, there's no way that the rest of them would work with Axl again. not the way he dicked them all over.

It's too bad. they were one of the greatest bands to ever put out music.
