You have to be more specific than that. I can think of at least 6 bands that could be considered "the band that just won't die."

Slaxl [TotalFark] 2008-11-16 09:12:43 AM
That's true, Mechagimpy, for example I think the worst band around is *insert submitters favourite band*. When will they just pack it in? *Insert submitters favourite band* are just awful talentless knobjockeys.

Earguy [TotalFark] 2008-11-16 09:15:21 AM
MC and Hinder? My 17 year old daughter will be begging me to let her go.

JoJoTheIdiotMonkeyBoy [TotalFark] 2008-11-16 09:15:35 AM
Slaxl: awful talentless knobjockeys.

Since they'd be touring with Hinder, they're in good company.

Earguy: MC and Hinder?

See, I actually had to click the link to figure out what MC was. MC Hammer?? oy.

I don't think submitters favourite band is touring with Hinder.

Eddie Adams from Torrance [TotalFark] 2008-11-16 09:46:47 AM
I read that as Hitler.

Which might be the best/worst band name ever.

I thought subby was talking about the Rolling Stones.

jaylectricity [TotalFark] 2008-11-16 11:00:56 AM
I thought it was going to be Nickelback. They tend to go around with Hinder.

this would be funnier if the article in question did not revolve around Motley Crue and Hinder. You can't get much worse.

NeverDrunk23: I thought subby was talking about the Rolling Stones.

Similar thought here.

Their continued "success" and "relevance" is a horrifying commentary on the notion of commercial viability in music.

They're old, road worn, not really that competent (as if they ever were) and charge a ridiculous amount of money. I can see why they don't give it up, but seriously...I thought selling out to Microsoft was so y'all could go out gracefully...sheesh...

hmmmmm.....
MC HINDER

please, Hammer...hurt em bad

Nickelback wasn't available so they picked Theory of a Deadman. I can't tell the difference.

Hinder...

People everywhere love there extremely romantic song...

...about cheating on your spouse.

Nothing says I love you like "I sure wish I was farking my ex instead".

Really?

Fark is focusing its rage on Hinder now?

Wow.

Guess I need to stop liking their music. That, or turn in my totalfark membership.

There's also a minor line-up change. Vince is out, Jon Lovitz is in.

But they lost me when they started wearing garter belts and lace...

Theory of a Deadman is one of the opening acts though- they are pretty damned good.

There is nothing wrong with liking a band that appeals to girls and gays.

Butt-rock is big money.

Toby Keith is evidence it works in country too.

I assumed that it had to be Nickelback just on a guess about who would tour with Hinder.

I always get Hinder confused with Guster, who is allegedly half-decent? But I will never listen to either of them because Hinder sucks.

browntimmy 2008-11-17 04:36:05 AM
I wonder if most of Hinder's fans can even tell the difference between them and every other alternative rock band on the radio.

I refer to most any alt/post-rock group as Theory of a Nickelfault.

/It works.
