Complete with bloody groin pic goodness.

dewars-rocks: ocal lobbyist repeatedly stabbed by wild buck

I blame Obama

Obviously you did not RTFA:

The lobbyist, who served as a Democrat in Maryland's House from 1987 until 1999, joked that the attack may have had political ramifications.

"Not to get too partisan, but I'm convinced it was a Republican deer, because it happened right where we had our Obama sign. And all the deer could do was attack, attack, attack. So it had to be a Republican deer."

You win. This time.

Gets a shot in the groin by a deer, then closes the wound with a paper binder, cotton and antiseptic... then goes to a meeting before going to the hospital.

Large caliber brass testicles on that bastard right there.

You'd think deer would trend democratic after Palin's fetish for
moose hunting became public....

Seriously, though: that's my hometown, and there is a severe
deer problem thanks to the NIST campus not allowing controlled
hunts due to the undue influence of animal rights idiots on
federal policy.

Deer kill more people than bears, mountain lions, sharks, and poisonous snakes combined. RLY. (Mostly car wrecks)

What are you doing to solve this problem? I'm doing my part, I eat every one of the bastards that comes within firing range. OM NOM NOM

Dude was a Democratic lobbyist. I'd love to have been at the meeting though:

"Gil, what's with the limp? You're walking kind of funny?"
"Nothing to worry about, Mike. I had a little run-in with a deer. Now, about that bill we've been working on."
"Um...okay...what about the blood?"
"Oh, you know...wife's on the rag, ha-ha."

Amusement 2008-11-15 11:04:14 PM
If you been living in the country you know there's two things that keep my kind of people out of the woods. Rut season, hunter season.

I have nothing against wild life management. When Billy-Joe-Jim-Bob drinks his short case of beer and carries a 20 round clip on his new Chinese made SKS. It's time to leave the woods.

My kind of woodsy people carry a knife. When a deer, in rut, attacks is an opportunity. DINNER TIME!

FTFA:
After a couple of seconds, I realized this was going to be a serious situation, because the deer then put its antlers down and was getting ready to charge Yuffie, who was barking at her," Genn said. "At that point I tore down the driveway screaming 'Yuffie get away.'"

Leave the dog for dead. Buck deer are a lot bigger and meaner than you think and they will kill you.

/I guess he knows that now.

Have you ever tried to shoot a deer with a shotgun? You know you'll have to be standing next to it to kill it, right? Otherwise, you'd have very messy, pissed-off deer.

Yep, most counties in my state forbid rifle hunting. But, using buckshot (as Barakku mentioned) or slugs is a sure way to drop 'em. I shoot with my 870 Super Mag which allows me to shoot 3 1/2s. It's got some power behind it.

Although, I admit that I'd prefer to shoot with a rifle... but it's not always legal.

Who cares? Violation of someone's personal rights for the emotional scarring of others is a win-win in my book.
