My plan calls for spending $700 billion on hookers and blow. It's better than giving it to Wall St. because it cuts out the middle man.

FTFA: Although mistakes I made in my private life now prevent me from participating in these issues as I have in the past, I very much hope and expect that President Obama and his new administration will have the strength and wisdom to do again what FDR did.

Actually, kinda choked ES couldn't keep his dick in his pants cos he actually makes a lot of sense in this article which makes his political persona non grata status a darn shame.

A timely article given the G20 meeting which is currently happening. I hope that our country's leaders will consider some of these reforms.

The "invisible hand" of the market has been making jack-off motions behind our backs for decades. This year, America got bukakked.

And when the attorneys general of all 50 states sought to investigate subprime lending, believing that some lending practices might be toxic, we were blocked by a coalition of the major banks and the Bush administration, which invoked a rarely used statute to preempt the states' ability to probe. The administration claimed that it had the situation under control and that our inquiry was unnecessary.

Unsurprisingly, Bush gives a give F U to states' rights once again. No wonder Alan Greenspan couldn't foresee the system tanking. Because he assumed 5 years later that there wouldn't be malicious chimps at the helm.

OK, so, he boinked a high-priced hooker. That was bad. From Jersey. Shame. SO, put that in it's proper box (pardon the pun). ASIDE FROM THAT, what was really tragic, is that this guy GETS IT. (No pun intended there). If he'd kept his tricky dick clean, and stayed on track, he would have been one of the few people who were out in front of this issue. He would almost certainly have been reviled and hated for the reforms, etc. - especially if they were enacted (because we might never have had to see the pain and wild markets - at least not to the extent we've seen it, so no one would have known) But he is like that really, really smart guy at Scores. (Let he who has not wished for additional 20 dollar bills at 3:30 a.m. cast the first stone.) He has a weakness - in his case, an excessive weakness - but that doesn't mean he wasn't CORRECT about the financial markets, etc.

Exactly. I wouldn't be surprised if that article wasn't really a job application he just submitted to Obama's transition team.

Exactly. We need to get shiat done and we need smart capable people to do it. This is no time to get puritanical over something like this. Spitzer did his time, now let him back into the arena so he can help.

Spitzer has done nothing any other politician has never done. Its because of these strong and accurate views that they took him down. He was about to go after these criminals full force, so they nailed him to kill his name. He really does care about America, unlike the criminals that pinned him.

Many uneducated people don't realize Spitzer went down because he started going after the Bush Administration and their Banker coherts for farking over the US.

Personally, I'd hire the guy in a second as a lawyer. Some smart firm will do the same. OMG he put his penis in some strange!

Yeah, when your ass is on the line, you want the best. Elliot took down some lions on Wall St. That takes brains and balls.

He's served his sentence. I'll buy stock in any firm that hires him.

It's SO cute how using the state police to dig up dirt on political opponents doesn't even enter into the equation now that the election's over.

Why should it? Spritzer used the state police to TRY and dig up dirt on Sen. Bruno. FAIL!

I bet Spitzer would be a perfect fit at the lawfirm of Milton,Chadwick & Waters. Maybe he should give John Milton a call.

No amount of regulation will save us from our own misguided & overly materialistic view of the world.

Spritzer is just a mirror of the CEO shiatbags that he pretends to be better than.

Spitzer must be the only one who's FAILED to dig up dirt on Bruno, because Joe's been wetting his beak all over Albany for 35 years.

But the robber-barons don't want him in the arena, because he understands what they are doing. So, expect him to be fed to the public arena of media whoredom, and our complacent population will no doubt play right into their hands...again.

Exactly, and if Obama is smart, he will put him to work in some capacity. He is a brilliant legal tactician, but obviously he does have some skeletons in his closet. However, it's not like he advocated for the suspension of Habeus Corpus or anything...
