I thought the Supreme Court could just dictate which leaders are legitimate.

I don't think it will be awkward at all. Of course they have differences, but now that the election is over, it is in the country's best interest for there to be a smooth transition -- they both realize this.

BWAHAHAHAHA!

Bush has shown time and time again that he will cut off the country's nose to spite its face.

He's petty and mean-spirited, and sticking it to the Dems is much more important to him than the country.

Not at all? Obama is going to be reversing all his executive orders. It's like a guy who walks up to the Deli counter and changes your order for you.

How's he going to get to the escape tunnel if Bush is there.
Unless Bush is in on it too?

Yeah, right. When does Bush ever 'stick it' to the Dems? He's divisive enough without having to be petty.

absoluteparanoia: Obama is going to be reversing all his executive orders.

Bush doesn't really read the newspapers, so perhaps he doesn't know about Obama's plans.

He's not going to reverse all of them. He only said he would review them and reverse the ones that don't make sense... umm... ok. Yeah, you're right.

"Hmmm, your looking for those executive orders Barack? I've seem to have misplaced them. Are they under the couch cushion? Nope, not there."

When the Clinton staff left office, they removed the 'W' from all the White House keyboards (hite House keyboards?)

I imagine the Bush staff will remove all of the 'O's.

Diogenes [TotalFark] 2008-11-10 01:31:33 PM
From the Washington Post:

"The president and first lady will greet their successors at the South Portico of the White House at 2 p.m., according to the schedule."

Oh, real nice, Bush. Try and sneak the black people through the back door.

You forgot to add "allegedly" or, more accurately "did not".

The "w" key prank never happened, but it made for a good last-ditch smear against the Clintons from our new Uniter-In-Chief.

Ding! Commonsense for the win. If either one did anything less than this they would look like the Cosmic douche of the year.

True, Bush doesn't need to try since he already holds the title, and Obama knows better than to compete against the Grand Master Douche.

Not "all" of them. 62 keyboards were replaced. Source (220 page GAO report)

This being said, some Clinton staffers being idiots 8 years ago does not grant a pass for Bush staffers to act like spoiled 5 year olds.

Bush is, right now, the most unliked president in history. More than Nixon was right before he resigned. More than Truman.

We're #1!!!
