Why would I want to move? It is my God-given right as a citizen of the US to stay here and BIATCH!

Moving... where? Where would the disgruntled McCain supporters move?

*If they're looking to avoid "socialism", they're sure as hell not going to find it in any country someone used to a consumerism lifestyle would want to live in.
*If they also wish to "keep their guns", any country that would satisfy them that we haven't already eliminated due to socialism would likely require you to be USING that gun fairly often. (A lot of the rest do not allow civilians to carry guns at all; only the police and military.)
*And let's not even discuss freedom of speech.

Basically, McCain supporters.... you're right screwed. If you wish to head elsewhere, best of luck to you, but you're not likely to enjoy yourself wherever it is you choose. (Also, this is where you may not have wanted to piss off the rest of the world. You may need them for something someday.)

Yeah, they sure as hell wouldn't want to move up here, with our healthcare system and gay marriage and shiat.

Maybe we can help each other out by getting rid of the PITA?

Just remember you're a living organism on this planet, and you're very safe. You've just seen a heavy election. Relax, stay inside and listen to some music, Okay? Do you have any Allman Brothers?

Saudi Arabia in some ways has the consumerism without the socialism. Actually, it has quite a damn bit of socialism, really, but without the taxes, which seems to be the main thing.

FWIW, there are large numbers of perfectly legal guns in Canada, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, etc. A little tighter in the Nanny State, but I've known licensed hunters there, too. Cling if it keeps you warm, but it's not like anyone's taking your precious guns.

Even the wet-dream countries for conservatives... Singapore has a system far closer to universal health care than the US. Israel has that, and open gays in the military.

I'm just glad that we can now quit trying to pretend that Obama's NOT a huge Muslim socialist. Really looking forward to being a counselor at one of the new liberal reeducation camps.

I'm thinking of naming my barracks "the Red Menaces".

Where are there conservatives clammoring/threatening to move?

More projection projecting.

But Missouri isn't called yet! Franken is only 221 votes behind! The Georgia run-off election isn't until December! I CAN QUIT WHENEVER I WANT TO!

More importantly, how do I cope with my relatives over the holidays who think Palin is the greatest thing since pre-sliced bread?

Guy in a gaming group I meet with every week, one of two McCain supporters was completely freaking out when we all got together. He "swears" that America is going to turn socialist in a year or two and he plans to run away before its too late. Run away to....and I swear to god he said this:

mexico or CANADA.

I think the time up north would do him some good.

Well, they're right. She (genuine conservatism..NOT wishywashy mccain) is the wave of the future. Future, as in, after BO and his crew are done with this country after just 4 years. We'll all be looking to MOVE in with Borat's sister's son (Borat) in a manger wherever he's from.

/Now I'll go listen to the Allmans.

Encourage them. The further to the right the Republican party stays, the more the left and center can get done. Encourage them to support and recruit Palin for a 2012 run.

Or you could just let them know that, now that Obama is elected, you plan on gay marrying. Either way, huge lolz.

Send him our way. I tuned in a fella that I met this spring from Georgia that's up here on a contract. As a group of businessmen, we sucked him in with fishing, hunting, and beer drinking before letting him know that we're all 30% further left than Obama. It was like Ned Flanders' reaction on being offered dope in the one Canada episode.

He eventually voted Obama. You're welcome.

"The necessaries of life occasion the great expense of the poor. They find it difficult to get food, and the greater part of their little revenue is spent in getting it. The luxuries and vanities of life occasion the principal expense of the rich, and a magnificent house embellishes and sets off to the best advantage all the other luxuries and vanities which they possess. A tax upon house-rents, therefore, would in general fall heaviest upon the rich; and in this sort of inequality there would not, perhaps, be anything very unreasonable. It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion."

Orange Crush: Canada will become more viable a place for American relocation when Obama turns America into a Hugo Chavez leftwing authoritarian regime. Canada's socialist government will look conservative in comparison.

You're like a one person well of Freeper Stupidity. Good for you.

Most of those countries DO restrict machine-gun, auto and semi-automatic rifles, and most hand guns. They allow hunting weapons, that are actually configured to be hunting weapons (No armor piercing shells, etc). It is the right to own a weapon for reasons other than hunting that NRA members get most inflamed about, like for personal protection or just being an avid gun collector.

And as my NRA brother-in-law says, to protect ourselves from the government if necessary.

/I have no idea if he's a fruitcake or if the entire organization believes (but doesn't publicly say) this.

Is that from 'Wealth of Nations'? I know of the book but have never read it.

I have some pretty obvious news to report. The Canadians don't want you neo-cons.

/or any other country in the world for that matter
//the REAL America would still like for you to leave though

stress? what stress? after eight years of bush, i'm enjoying almost zen-like bliss now that the election is over.

oh - you mean, what do you do if you're a bitter neoconservative? well, if you love religious authoritarian governments, why not try saudi arabia or iran?
