i saw them live in the 90's....the live show is AWESOME, and i didn't even care much for the music

Rammstein live is about 10% more awesome than any other live show.

Show is great, music is awful.

They should take it to Vegas.

Ramstein - Keine Lust

One of my favorite videos of all time.

Apparently they do it themselves too - several of the band members are licensed pyrotechnicians, according to a roadie friend of mine.

//His stories about GWAR, let me tell you them...later.

Didn't Till Lindeman (vocals) leave the band? I can't imagine Rammstein without him.

nmhansen 2008-11-07 06:28:58 PM
No, Till didn't leave the band. That was a rumor, which was debunked shortly after it got big.

Can they even do their full stage shows in the US? I remember some years back that at least some of their shows were canceled because of problems getting approval from local fire marshals.

I'd love to see them live!

KMFDM > Rammstein

But I still love me some Rammstein.

It would be amazing if they came to NJ.

/I doubt they could find a venue other than maybe the IZOD Center that would let them do their show.
//And that's a stretch.

Always been a huge fan of them. Till is one of my favorite vocalists.

I can't wait for this to come out.

I would love to see them live, but i don't think they could fill the places that are actually big enough for them to their full show.

/run on sentence runs on and on and on and on.
//Saw Korn a week after the first Family Values Tour ended. No Rammstein... Hed PE (meh) and Orgy (great live) opened up for 'em. We were all hoping for Rammstein.

This. Although, the article mentions that they are renting a studio near SF, so maybe they'll do a show here (ever the optimist). I haven't had the pleasure of seeing them live yet.

I hope this new album is good, though. Rosenrot was several shades of 'meh.'

Meh.

They got some good songs (own all the albums) but from what I have seen of their live vids the only thing they have working for them is the pyro. I would not pay money to see some fire while the band just pretty much stands there. They never look into it at all.

I don't care if they drive tanks over the entire audience.

Seen them a few times and it's always a good show. Especially when the lead singer sets himself on fire while he sings.

Ministry and KMFDM are alot better than Rammstein (still good), but Im having a hard time trying to decide which is better than the other.

Seen them both in concert but Minstry takes it. Saw them at Lollapalooza 2 in Houston in ....92 or 93 I think. Most intense farking pit ever. Saw them a few months ago in Munich. Uncle Al still rocks the fark out.
