They claim a double standard, but I see a simple progression.

Clinton's "I didn't inhale" got a lot more attention than Bush's alleged cocaine use. Now Obama teenage indiscretions get even less attention. It seems that over time we are less and less concerned.

The Cindy McCain story covered a lot more than just her drug use, so I don't see that as a valid comparison.

Still, I don't think the families should be dragged into a campaign.
