I saw an editorial cartoon with this theme in The Daily Oklahoman, a paper so conservative they're still supported by the buggy whip industry. I'm guessing the irony was lost on the editors.

"In fact, if Obama had grown up in my neighborhood in the segregated deep south in the 1930s and 1940s, since he lived with his white mother and white grandparents and his father was no where to be seen and mostly Arab, he would have gone to the white segregated school with me. In fact, I'm actually darker than he is."

Since most of the people involved in segregation believed in the "one drop rule" Obama would never have been allowed in a white school. Even if they never saw his father, just his white relatives, it is obvious he is of mixed race.

Always be ware of the "I'm not a racist" people. If they feel the need to preface things with this then they probably are racist.

She's a Rush Limbaugh fan.

This election has been framed in large measure by the claim made by Barack Obama that he is the "black" candidate, even though genetically he is only 6½% black African, and that people who oppose him are "racist." Obama is 50% Caucasian and 43 ½% Arab.

Donald_McRonald: Something tells me there are going to be a lot of people on Fark saying Obama stole the election for the next infinity years.

I damn well hope so. Rather that than having to say McCain stole it for the next infinity years.

If McCain wins and it looks hinky - and I can think of very few to no scenarios where it doesn't - I will dedicate my life to cleaning up the election process. This I vow.

I'm sick of "miscalibrated" voting machines.
I'm sick of exit polls mysteriously wrong after they've been right for 40 years.
I'm sick of votes being routed through GOP servers.
I'm sick of hanging chads, machines that can be hacked by a 10 year old, purging of voter rolls, flyers telling people to vote on Wednesday, and registration fraud frenzy.

I hope I don't have to rant about this in four days.

FTFA: (Obama's) lack of experience,
How did Family Guy put this one? The John McCain POW Experience, or something like that? All I remember is "wahhh, I want to be president!" from the clip.

his voting record,
John McCain voted with George W. Bush 90% of the time, more often (according to the ad, featuring an audio clip of John) than many of his Republican colleagues.

his methods of campaigning
Yeah, I haven't seen any dirty attack ads put out by the McCain campaign. I haven't heard any stories from McCain/Palin rallies in which people yell ludicrous things related to ludicrous connections made by their campaign.

his socialist agenda
I suppose socialism like we see in many European democracies is far worse than the war-mongering and tough talk we hear from... yeesh... Iran... North Korea... Venezuela...

and accusing anyone who opposes him of racism
Never heard this charge from Obama himself or anyone at or near the top in the campaign. First, they let all of us point out the obvious. Second, the only accusations of racism regarding people's comments on Obama I've seen have been here, on Fark. But, how can you blame us for claiming these things when people that support your candidate do have a slightly greater reputation for being more untrusting of black people? I myself have talked to people in person and on the phone (campaign calls) who've said they won't vote for a black man. No matter how you dress it up, that's racism. "Durrrr, nex' thing y'all tell me, Jesus weren't no white man from Alabammer."

Get ready to hear all about how ACORN is directly controlled by George Soros and how they stole the election for Obama because you can somehow do that with bad registrations.

I posted this elsewhere but it fits better here.

Can someone explain why exit poll information is being discussed days before the election? Just giving out results on election day is not acceptable because it influences later day activities.

That's how to explain McCain winning the election, right?

They will say the Dem voters felt like they had it in the bag so they didn't show up on Tuesday. But the Repubs turned out in force to respond to the early democratic showing.

/There ain't enough tinfoil in the world.

It'd be hilarious if it weren't so painfully stupid. The people who continually told Democrats to get over 2000 are gonna find a way to claim that ACORN somehow garnered Obama a landslide (at least in comparison to 2000/2004) victory.
