I think Wayne Coyne is physically incapable of standing in one spot for more than three seconds.

That shows you how "edgy" he is. Jeez, didn't you take ArtSchool 101?

Wayne doesn't give a shiat if people think he's edgy or not. He's pretty much everything that's right about music in my book.

Rather, I think your statement shows how some people won't stop thinking about what other people are doing in terms of whether or not they are trying to "be edgy."

You know, rather than just doing whatever the fark you feel like doing, which IS what the Flaming Lips do.

What are you gonna do today Wayne?

Whatever I feel like I wanna do, GOSH!

Wayne is my hero. Doubly so for the double-neck guitar-hero axe.

Double.

Love the Lips.

Got into a fistfight with a buddy of mine, about fifteen years ago, because he had the audacity to suggest that the Flaming Lips had sold out and become irrelevant.
Ran into him at a bar about five years ago and had to buy him a beer and apologize, since he was right all along. The Lips rank right up there with Waylon Jennings as shining examples of how some people shouldn't quit doing drugs.
Makes sense they're from Oklahoma, since everything they've done since Transmissions sucks like Colour Me Badd.

Kaoscillator. hmmm. crazy little unit. maybe he's not as limited as I think.

gotta call shenanigans skeeterjennings. The Soft Bulletin is one of the best discs to come out in the last 15 years. Sounds nothing like Transmissions (which was the disc that turned me on to them) but give it another listen if you havent in a while.

You can get that thing and a few of its cousins at ThinkGeek. I have no interest in making music but I really really want one of those things.
