I disagree. We discuss SNL skits here, don't we? Political satire is political satire, regardless of the source. While meaningless in and of itself, it's a useful gauge of public opinion and the angle of attack of political opponents.

Actually, they're often frightenly prophetic...although I'm sure they don't mean to be.

Some of their other non-political articles- hard to tell they're satire because frequently one knows, works with, or is related to "Area Man/Woman" or the pathetic schlump being featured in any given article.

There were at least 3 "Jean Teasdales" in my HS graduating class and FSM alone knows how many "Jim Arnchowers".
