Obama's such a narcissist, he had a city in Japan named after him. Spread the word.

Going back to YouTube "Added: April 17, 2008"

So, it's just a matter of name recognition, right? You'd at least get a kick if some candidate shared the name of your city.

Is this the October surprise?

Sham-RLAU 2008-10-25 06:53:03 PM
From the comments:

Stop the thieves, Bush, Boehner and McSame from stealing our vote!

What? Of all the people they could have listed as thieves, they list Boehner? What about Cheney? Stevens? Whaaa...?

For additional 'Whaaa...?', see 3:14.

Sham-RLAU: What? Of all the people they could have listed as thieves, they list Boehner? What about Cheney? Stevens? Whaaa...?

Yesterday, Boehner had Bush forward on his letter to the justice department to have 200,000 ballots in Ohio turned into provisional ballots. Considering that the justice department has been flooded with partisan appointees, this looks all the more partisan.

DarnoKonrad 2008-10-25 06:59:32 PM
This is why Hillary was not for you and me and will not bring back our democracy. La, la la la, Obama.

My Japanese is a bit rusty, but it's something like

I'm disrespectful to dirt!

Can you see I am serious!

Get out of my way, all of you!

This is no place for loafers.

Join me or die.

Can you do any less?

For lucky best wash, use Obama. LALALALALA OBAMA!

Fantastic. The US needs the Republicans to ham-handedly and obviously subvert the democratic processes so that Obama administration can point to it as yet another example of the electoral reforms that are required. That presumes, of course, that he can get out more votes than the Repubs can subvert.

/End threadjack.

And all you need know about this video?

Obama, Japan is a tiny fishing villiage, I wouldn't be surprised if half the town's population were used as dancers in the video.

The sea which spreads far the dazzling sun it is fixed being, foreign American future starting projecting, don't you think?

like If you walk the coastal paralleling, the blue blue sky where it appears in the smiling face which overflows and meets and you think the country of freedom is connected

Certainly, everyone asking, in order for this peace of the not to go out, way the town of the port which is history does not change,

the fireworks of the seashore where it floats the flame of the heart which burns the boat of the name, desire which the person which is similar it will do and with it probably will draw

Certainly everyone understanding, as for the pupil which the that blue is clear as for the dream which repaints history it expands

Thank you Babelfish for EXACTLY NOTHING.

My wife's Japanese -- and from the same prefecture that Obama City is in -- and her reaction to that video was a massive facepalm. "farking embarrassing", were her words.

Obama's a nice little town.
Very quiet.
Good toy store.
Excellent tonkatsu restaurant.

Friend lived there for 3 years. Visited often.

awesome bath house. one of the best I'd ever been to.

vodka good.

I'm not really sure that support from a Japanese pop band from Obama City is the kind of thing ANY American political candidate wants or needs, especially this close to an election.

It's nice and all, but not quite....quite.
