This is bad news for TransCanada's chances of getting approval of the pipeline in northern BC and Alberta. The left-wing is already moderately up in arms against it, and Amnesty International is now involved, citing human rights concerns with native groups whose land the pipe is planned to go through.

I think the overall sentiment toward Palin in Canada is already "Honky grandma be trippin'!" mixed with disgust at how much of a dumbass she is, and the more the TransCanada project is in the news in the States, the more it will perceived as "Sarah Palin's pipeline".
