well I am sure he did scare that cat so all's well that ends well.

My grandpa shot a stray cat that came into his kitchen with a .22. He tried to clean up so my grandma would not know but I guess he missed some blood and he had to tell her. She was not amused.

There's this thing called a broom. Works better than a shotgun for shooing varmints out of the house. I've used it on cats, possums, raccoons, and unwanted men.
