1L or 2L?

You have to go through life with a sense of humor. Even if it's morbid and paves your way to hell.

She "accidentally killed herself," and then the ad features a woman saying "oops!" in response to another "accident." Thus, the humor.

Great Janitor 2008-10-19 01:00:11 AM
Best laugh all day, and after hanging out with some friends all day at the state Fair, and having several good laughs, this is still the best one.

1. Repeat
2. Do people actually buy those shirts?
3. $15 for those T-Shirts? Really? What's the profit margin on them 95%?

It's not the advertisement itself, it's the "oops" associated with it. The hair care reference ties to the suicide as if the girl killing herself was something trivial like a messing her hair, which obviously it's not.

In this case, it's contextual. The same thing goes with the suicide and the marital counseling ads earlier in the post. When one falls, they may scream.

One is about sun tanning, the other is about hair colour. You're so itching to use your stupid internet memes, that you'll use them when you don't actually have a point.

I reckon sometimes they do that on purpose. I would if I was a sub editor. I know half you farkers would, too.

A friend of mine who's a bloody good swimmer but also spent time in the loony bin on more than once occassion... he was in the newspaper for doing this insanely long ocean swim and he talks about his mental problems and underneath there was a huge advert for.

Krazy John's Krazy Klearance Sale

//not actually Krazy John's but a similar sounding name
///advert did not actually use Ks instead of Cs I added that to make it funnier
////names changed to protect the inoccent

I actually LOL'd at that one, InternationalShoe. In fact, if it wasn't likely to result in injury, I might have even ROFL'd.

Yup, the t-shirt of that is nice. Ironic? Only if it sells, I guess. I like recursion and contradictions, so I'm thinking of buying one. It's a tease for both FAIL and Fark (and advertising) so it could be fun...

That ad reminds me of a frequent thought I have.

I want to have a live-in girlfriend. One who gets up early because she enjoys it. I imagine the first day like this: her sitting at the table over a bowl of cereal. I come in, and she looks up at me, smiles while taking a bite. I slap her off her chair and dump the bowl on her head. She's looking up in shock, and it gives me that warm feeling in my throat and chest. She gets up to leave, but she's not allowed to. She must shave her head and live in the closet. She will learn to be silent and unseen when guests are over. She will be beaten every day.

I don't want her to feel depressed. I want her to feel deep, conscious sadness. The type where she will spend her hours of darkness in morose fits of imagination regarding what lives she could have led before she met me, and those grains of comfort will be scattered like an ant hill beneath my heel with every lash of the belt.
