Is Andy Taylor ever going to stop looking bitter and angry?

Just had to go watch the Rio vid on YouTube. (You know how to find it.) It was like a blast from the couple-of-decades-past. I vaguely remembered dancing women, ocean, and the band, but... wow. I'd completely forgotten about how much silhouetted-girl-shape there was. And cheese. Can't forget the cheese. Why the hell was osteoporosis such a hot issue in the '80s?

/lots of calcium around, apparently
//won't need to see that video again, at least for another couple of decades

Yeah, I wanna know the story of anther seminal 1980s video. I am talking about this song and its respective video. Let's just say that it has gotten me a quality amount of poon over the years. This George Michael's song in the background works wonder with the gyno-English-speaking population.

There's one statement in the article that seems a little smug, unless you are of the correct age.

Duran Duran singing on the yacht IS an iconic image.

/Oh Rio, Rio, hear them shout across the land ...
//Doot-doot DOOdoodoodeedoo

I'm an '80s Olde-School metalhead

That said, RIO is one of the best albums of that decade!

I just played Rio all the way through last week. It (and DD's self-titled debut album) still sounds fantastic. Weirdly, their next record, Seven and the Ragged Tiger, sucks. The production is so trebly that even when I was 15 I thought it sounded like a box of broken glass being shaken.

Doo doo doo doo doo doo...

It's name is Brillo and it shines up all your pans,
Which means less work for all your tired and dirty hands,
And when it shines, it really shows you all it can,
Oh Brillo Brillo come and shine up all my pans.

Thank you so much for that! I still want to play horsey with Simon LeBon.

/Just like I wanted to when I was 10

Andy's still bitter because he never was as hot as John or Simon, nor as talented as Warren.
