Also the second time I've seen this story. Granted, this one has pictures, but pictures are racist.

Considering this appears to be about prescription drugs, he probably got hit with one count per pill.

He would have totally got away with it if he was a white beer heiress worth billions. It's obviously racial.

It's called padding statistics. The cop wants him and his department to look good so they file individual charges for everything. That way when they look at the precinct's numbers for the quarter/year it looks like they had a lot more busts, thus increased funding. Some will even use it for political gain. Say this cop wanted to run for Sheriff or something. He now has over 100 felonies he can add to his record.

Not trying to say this guy isn't a drug dealer or he isn't going to get what is coming to him. But cops do this crap allll the time. They love padding numbers and turning one bust into many.
