(Fine Fueling) Cool This premium tête de cuvée hi-octane blend has a graceful marriage of light body and kerosene flavor notes. It shows more complexity and haunting power nuances with a less fruity petroleum flavor than regular Collonial premiums   (finefueling.com) divider line 68

blkhwk86: How did this get green?

I'm guessing it was greenlit because it's hilarious. (No, I'm not the subby.)

macaddict0 2008-10-12 08:06:31 PM
Well that's... amusing?

I'd like to say that it was biting satire, but really it just got a small inward chuckle out of me. Still, it's not like I was doing anything better at the time.

Drew gave up Heineken and is strictly drink 91 octane. Figured his brain cells weren't dying fast enough.

Very satirical without being overly bitter or banging you over the head with its message. A+++ would click again!

Damn the snobbery. I'm a jeans & tshirt guy so I'm happy swilling ethanol-blended reglurrrrr from Wawa.

So when do they have offset fuel for Al Gore's private jet that burns more fuel in a single trip than a SUV does before the warranty runs out?

Nightmaretony 2008-10-12 08:12:20 PM
Nice.

Was disappointed by the Secret Reserve Helicopter & Limousine Fuel.

People who can only afford reciprocating engine helicopters are the
wrong sort of clientele for fine fuels like these.

They should be ashamed of even offering it.

The title "Chavez" over the Chevron logo is sort of confusing . . .

I clearly cannot trust my fuel selection to a company that pictures a turbine-engine helicopter in its description of a reciprocating-engine fuel.

When I get my helicopter, I shall certainly be shopping elsewhere.

Yes, it's funny but cutting and pasting a headline from the story is pretty weak.

The joke is on us. We been using that stuff in our tanks for the longest time already. Hasn't anyone noticed the price to fill up a tank is about the same as a very good bottle of wine? Or a few cases at least?

If I could, I would run my car on batteries.

My current choice of inexpensive white is $8.99 a 750 ml bottle, or $45.30 a gallon. Filling the tank would cost almost $725.
Getting tanked, though is a lot cheaper.

There's always boxes wine, though. 11.99 a 3l, which means over $241 to fill the tank.

I think you either have a very large tank or a very accommodating taste in wine.

I'm afraid the Opec Ultra didn't meet my expectations. I enjoyed the hints of Methylcyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl, but found the naphthalene aftertaste excessive for a city-driving fuel.
