Yay for Caturday!

I would have preferred a sappy tag.

Well, to be fair, the cat never nagged him about getting a job so he could finally move out

I think the Weird tag would be better than Sappy.

I'm really worried about Fluffy. No trace has been found of him/her. I'll be preying for him/her and Omarion.

Many years ago a friend of mine worked as a jailer. he had in his care for about a year a man who killed his mom by cutting out her heart. everyday my friend would cut the lunchmeat in sandwitch to go to the mans cell in the shape of a heart.

Sometimes the cutter would cry at night and when he would say anything about his mom the jailer would say " she does'nt have the heart to see you.

/ Side note he was fired for f-ing a female inmate.

According to PetCare's records, Lavis had been to the clinic once before, in 2000, with an ill cat that died.

...so he has a history of killing. looks like we've got another case of a liberal state letting killers free in hopes that they will "rehabilitate" sad indeed.

If heartless conservatives had not fought against free health care for cats...

I'm going to go with meth as my guess: Putting a lot of bowls or cat food and water around the condo, the unfinished project (disposing of the body) and going to great lengths to do unnecessary things (giving the cat to a vet).

John Robinson, the Kansas City canner, took two small dogs belonging to one of his victims, to an animal shelter. He claimed he'd found them.

Not unnecessary. Even bad people can have some ethics.

James J. "Whitey" Bulger: "RACKETEERING INFLUENCED AND CORRUPT ORGANIZATIONS (RICO) - MURDER (19 COUNTS), CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT MURDER, CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT EXTORTION, NARCOTICS DISTRIBUTION, CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT MONEY LAUNDERING; EXTORTION; MONEY LAUNDERING... Bulger is an avid reader with an interest in history. He is known to frequent libraries and historic sites. Bulger may be taking heart medication. He maintains his physical fitness by walking on beaches and in parks with his female companion, Catherine Elizabeth Greig. Bulger and Greig love animals..."

FYI: Bulger was an inspiration for Jack Nicholson's character in The Departed and apparently "frequents" animal shelters.

FTFA: "The gray, 10-year-old domestic shorthair weighs 16 pounds and suffers from diabetes. She also recently was diagnosed with lung cancer, said Mary Quinn..."

So the cat was diagnosed with lung cancer. His mother was a smoker - reason enough to stab her to death, imo.

/just kidding
//sorta
///she was committing slow suicide anyway, and she gave her cat lung cancer, fer chrissake! She's gotta be in hell for that....

The first thought that came to my mind was that when he failed to find the second cat, he spread the food about as incentive for the missing cat to not snack on his mother.
