Edsel: So when is "Detox" coming out anyway?

who knows... I keep reading stories that hes got all these songs, but now apparently he's still recording, and about a month ago there was this story about him waiting for some vodka deal so he can release both at once, so as you can see, music doesnt seem his priority here....

Am I the only person who, when Dre was starting to get big in the early/mid-90s, who couldn't believe anyone would buy a rap record from the fat guy from YO!MTVRaps?

NeauxFear [TotalFark] 2008-10-11 02:32:26 PM
And yes, I shortly found out it wasn't the same guy...

Dont forget Parliment. Dre loves him some P-Funk.

It's good to see hip-hop evolving, and I'll be interested to see where this takes Dre.

It's either going to be extraordinarily cool, or a catastrophe.

If it opens the eyes of even one young person to the awesomeness of Chopin then the spiffy tag is completely justified

Or here's a novel idea... he could get someone to actually play something new instead of hacking apart a classical masterpiece.

Sampling Chopin?

It's been done. (not a rick roll)

Of course, this is not the first time black rappers have ripped off white european electronic music. (also not a rick roll)

I think his SON DYING may have something to do with the delay.

I'm doing my best to pretend that song doesn't exist. You're not exactly helping.

I wish I could dress like Afika Bambaataa to work every day. I'd shovel shiat and be a jizz-mopper for that.

Bach on a Hook (new window)

It is, ummm, a bit different. But catchy

Already Disturbed 2008-10-12 12:58:40 PM
Dre actually provided Bacharach with some tracks for Burt's last record, At This Time.
/prefers Painted from Memory
//make another one with Costello!
