I like dried radishes. Of course, you must soak them first to get most of the lead out.

You use dried radishes in some kimchee recipes and for stir fry. It's like someone else went all hippie and did some summer garden dehydrating projects for you. But added sweet, tasty sulfite! YUM!

My grandfather would drain teh liquid from a jar of pickled beets and replace it with white vinegar. He lived to 98 and had a sharp, horny mind. Dried radishes don't seem so odd to me.
