Cramer is usually wrong, but McCain is pissed cause of the article a few days stating "Obama is a recession, McCain is a depression" vote accordingly

Cramer is a wacko, but at least he knows where his towel is. I doubt McCain can say the same.

Cramer is 15 pounds of crazy in a 5 pound bag, and someone gave the bag a megaphone.

Kramer is a boob but at least he tells people before they invest in anything to do their own homework on a company.

I try to avoid watching TV news at all costs usually, but the morning paper was late today, so I popped on TV (now that I've finally gotten around to getting cable) while eating breakfast...

C-SPAN, CNN, Headline News - all talking about the Economy in one form or another.

FOX News - had a satellite image of Obama's neighborhood pointing out where Rezko, Ayers, and Louis Farrakhan (for some reason) lived in proximity to Obama's house and they had three peopel discussing how damning that was for Obama...

At this point, it's so pathetic all you can really do is shake your head and laugh.

Still accurate to this day: that video they showed in our college finance class where they picked 3 stocks based on research but also threw a flight of 3 darts at the NYSE listing from a newspaper and did better on the latter.

Investing is wise, but there's to more to investing than just the volatile stock market.

I wouldn't take his advice on a dare. He's just stoopid.

This is why I don't subscribe to Fox news. It's bad to be exposed to that kind of crazy.

/I have all the other channels but damned if I will give them any money or even the international ratings they probably don't care about.

There was a rassmussen poll a few months ago showing that Fox viewers favored McCain over Obama 87%-9%. And I thought WTF is wrong with that 9%?
I would love to see what the numbers are like after a few weeks of 24/7 "Radical Associations Programming"

Easy. 9% of rednecks regret their shotgun weddings, and see this as their way out.

Hmmmm, eyebleach, or Obama......

Cramer has been wrong on a lot of individual stocks

but

he's dead right that money you need in less than 5 years shouldn't be in the stock market.

Anyone who took advice from Jim Cramer and watched the show for any other reason for entertainment value is.. well, you know. The thing looks like something from UHF.

My friends, I came here for the Michael Richards pictures. They're not here, and I'm afraid it's just more proof that you all are palling around with terrorists.

Eh...Fox news comes with the basic subscription... It good for a few laughs every once in a while, especially ol' Shepard "Fetal Alcohol Syndrome" Smith...

Honestly, I'm digging C-SPAN... No screaming or hyperbole that I've seen so far, and the guests seem to be chosen for their expertise and knowledge rather than their political ideology.

Why does C-SPAN hate America?

I don't think anyone else would disagree, and it's common advice. Bonds, Money Market Funds, etc. if you are trying to protect your nest egg, not grow it.

But when it comes to picking stocks, Cramer is a joke. Ignore him completely.

Is he bad enough so that you can do well by picking the opposite of what he says?

You think Cramer's bad? The local weatherman was wrong more than 25 times last year... and he has computers predicting this ****.

According to a study done by some university (can't remember which one) the answer is yes. If you had taken all of his advice in 2007, you would have not only underperformed the market, buy you would have lost money. He's all blow - he also blew out a couple of hedge funds in his free time. Listen to this guy at your own risk!

Imagine if you'd not just sold lehman brothers, but shorted lehman brothers? You'd be sitting on a gold mine. A GOLD MINE.

So yes.

You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.
