While it is true that a million dollars in ones would weight a ton, I'm pretty sure it wasn't in one dollar bills. It was probably more likely in hundreds. That would only weigh about 22 pounds.

The Sebben & Sebben Co. training video?

Where he's constantly putting his eye near sharp things, next to flames and burnish and wood shavings, pulling trucks with it, and getting it wedged under tires in the Paris to Dakar road rally? He gets cut on his lip with a paperclip and in the very next scene, he's wearing an eye patch!

How Phil got his eye poked out is easily the greatest mystery in cartoons.
