That was awesome. I've been a B-52's fan since the first time I heard them.

What surprised me about them is how old they were when their first album came out - mid to late 20's except for Cindy Wilson. For some reason I always thought they were late teens/early 20's (college age) when they got their first record deal.

Fred Schneider was 27 in that video ('78) and was 28 when their first album was released.

Well, their version of Downtown is ok. I always thought it was rather abrupt and messy. Of course, I'm a fan of the Petula Clark version, and in my world some things shouldn't be messed with.

I always preferred Legal Tender or Private Idaho.
