Rolling Stones are the luckiest band alive. I can't stand them, so props to Subby on that one.

I saw Coldplay perform once. I'm no fan of their music, but a friend was and had an extra ticket and wanted me to come and I had no other plans for the evening. And I gotta say, I'm still no fan of their music, but the guy puts on a pretty good show.

U2, I'd love to see.

The Rolling Stones? Meh.

Yes, who would want to see U2 or The Rolling Stones when you could see the likes of "Jay-Z, Amy Winehouse and veteran songwriter Leonard Cohen"? I would not piss on Amy Winehouse if her hair was on fire. I'm afraid the resulting plume would be toxic.

No kidding. I think the needle scars are the only thing holding her together these days.

Actually, if you were around Amy Winehouse, regardless of it she was on fire or not, the furthest thing from your mind your be getting your cock out.

I greatly prefer the second lineup. You'd rather see U2 over Leonard Cohen?? And Amy Winehouse- good or bad, that's a show right there.

Well to be fair to Glasters, it's a bit more than one stage. Just a bit.

/Been a few times, have spent around an hour all told at the main stage.
//Page and Plant and Sinead O'Connor (the latter being a girlfriend-duty).
///John Peel FTW!

Oh to see Leonard Cohen. What a farking lyricist.

And I'll dance with you in Vienna
I'll be wearing a river's disguise
The hyacinth wild on my shoulder,
My mouth on the dew of your thighs
And I'll bury my soul in a scrapbook,
With the photographs there, and the moss
And I'll yield to the flood of your beauty
My cheap violin and my cross

Not even the best example, but it's stuck in my head.

175 pounds?!?!?!?!?!?

that's (very roughly) $350!

ACL tickets for 3 days of more world-famous artists than you could ever possibly see were about $125!

Same here...not much experimentation or anything onstage, so the songs sound basically like they do on the radio, but at least the lead singer tries to engage with the crowd and doesn't come off like a tight-wad douche up there.

Far from the best concert I ever been to, but I was pleasantly surprised since I was half-expecting a barge-load of fail.

Give me the Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, Muse, Kanye West and at least 2-3 other decent acts and I'd consider paying $350.

/Still probably wouldn't throw down that sort of cash though
