Interesting stuff. Reminded me of how annoyed I was at the 2 different versions of THE CLASH's first album

"In 35 years they still sound the same"

I guess that's a selling point for some.

Wow, that sounded like a big ad for AC/DC's new album, Black Ice, in stores on October 20th, 2008.

Sure is, that's why whatever music you listen to sucks.

Then stay the hell off my lawn or me and my axe-shaped-guitar wielding wife will blast you off with our 15 foot powered speakers.

I love some of their songs, i just find that one kind of boring, sorry, i would like for them to do something a little different maybe just for one single?

Watch is review of Dragon's Lair and Dick Tracy. Good stuff.

This was pretty calm stuff coming from this guy. Interesting, though.

I love AC/DC, but haven't bothered to buy anything post Flick of the Switch. Why bother?

Agreed, I'm a pretty big fan of AC/DC but that new single is severely lacking in the kind of energy their previous work.

Fark AC\DC. They're completely skipping Portland. Vancouver, BC then Tacoma, then Oakland? WTF! You have to drive through Portland on your way to Oakland! Stop and play a show!!!

Yes, AC/DC songs sound the same. You're not being bold or insightful by pointing this out. The Ramones also wrote songs that sound the same, and if you hate The Ramones there's no point in discussing rock music with you.

its just not the same without his foaming at the mouth hate and curses.

Figured before I clicked that it had to be about the clusterfark of the early releases.

Sure, they're predictable and cliched, but they always put on a hell of a good show.

Whats amazing is that no one gives them credit for some of the most classic guitar riffs created

The same people who biatch and complain about AC/DC always sounding the same are the same people who biatched and complained about Metallica trying something different with the Load/ReLoad. Then biatched and complained when they finally went back to their old sound.

Like someone else said....

If it ain't broke.

Simply

If you like it, listen
If you don't, turn it off and STFU.

People worry about the silliest things.

His Dick Tracy review was one of his better ones in a while. When I need a good chuckle, I go back through some of his older stuff. The NES attachment and Bugs Bunny were great.

Also his timeline of Rocky and Rambo were pretty good.

AC/DC has sucked since they parted ways with Dave Evans.

Dude; they're all in their mid-50s(as I am). Energy at that age is hard to come by, ya know...
