Would rather you'd listen to Jesus and Mary Chain's first album instead

Echo & the Bunnymen are one of those groups I have grown to appreciate more and more with each passing year. I have all their albums and I have seen them twice in the last couple of years. What a great band with the right approach and perspective on their career.

WOW. I would've loved to have seen/heard this. I can only imagine how cool this would have been. Too bad they can't tour this-- I bet they'd pack in the angst-ridden GenX-ers like cordwood.

If you like these guys, and Ocean Rain is a great album, check out British Sea Power.

I would have paid a good chunk of change to see this concert.

Maybe they'll bring it to the Hollywood bowl.

Can you have a ten-piece orchestra? Wouldn't that be just a dectet?

Does it count if I think comparing them to Brian Wilson is more than a bit of a stretch?

Cordwood? Are you suggesting they should be................lit on fire?

The cool factor on this would have been very high. Wish they would tour this.

I made the trek down from Boston to see this show and it was as good as advertised. Mac's voice was as good as I've heard in the past 5 years and the Ocean Rain set was magical.

youtube has a bunch of the tunes from the night ... some video is a little shoddy, but the audio is pretty good.

I had no idea this was even in the works. Ocean Rain is one of my favorite albums ever.
