Was he eating a peanut butter and banana sandwich?

Kim Jong-il delivered a short speech before the soccer match on the topic of "Brains!"

You all should be more sensitive. Kim is very il and doesn't have jong to live.

"quoting the state-run Korea Central News Agency."

Then it must be true.

Did a huge storm happen?

North Korea is so yesterday's news. Now that we're in economic trouble, and we're leeching about as much money as we can out of the system for the Iraq war, suddenly we don't have so many enemies. Not ones that are in dire need of liberating, anyway.

Hm. Strange.

Perhaps they're tooling up for an attack on South Africa. Kill two birds with one stone: Human Rights and Diamonds!

Almost every time a KJI article comes up, I have to pimp this site - www.nk-news.net . English translations of the KCNA articles. I recommend searching for Hwang Jang Yop, a defector from some years ago. Pure comedy gold.

Too bad a sighting of him can't be immediately followed by a bullet through his brain.

But this is the state-run news, which also claims that Kim Jong Il wrestles bears and invented golf.

Kim is probably doing his best Terri Schiavo impersonation right now.

The game, by the way, concluded in the most glorious nil-nil tie in the history of the sport. Dear Leader was seen after the match healing ankles.

Oddly enough, he was accompanied by Andrew McCarthy and Jonathan Silverman.

the 62nd anniversary of the founding of the university named after his late father, Kim Il Sung,

Is there anything NOT named after that guy? They really need to get over him.

I'm betting it was probably Elvis. Kim's dead, baby.
