The debate combined with the potatoe incident didn't preclude Bush/Quayle from taking the election. A lesson in the importance of the VP and/or the VP debate lies therein, I suppose.

Only polls that have her winning were the unscientific polls that could be flooded by bots, and she only won two of those.
