Yet another winning ad from the McCain campaign. It's obvious why so many Americans love him.

Most people don't know this, but I'm actually quite famous.

Bret Michaels? Carrot Top? Stephen Hawking? Tom Hanks?

I'm dying to know which "Famous Person" the McCain camp predetermined before the debate would think that it was Sarah Palin's night!

ilambiquated 2008-10-03 05:35:51 PM
I think that the problem is that MCain is running out of money. Editing is incredibly expensive.

They also ran an ad with "exagerrating" [sic].

On the other hand, they were very fast with their attack ads - and their claim that McCain had won the debate. So maybe they are running out of time. But I don't think so.

ilambiquated 2008-10-03 05:36:54 PM
dopirt: I think Team McCain fired all their subeditors.

I think so too.

oh and once I saw a blimp 2008-10-03 05:36:59 PM
The Famous Person wears the same size water skis as me, she's got three cars, as many years I've lived in this city. Her hair is blond and mine is brown, they both start with a b. But when the phone inside her ribcage rings it's not for me. But when the phone inside her ribcage rings it's not for me.
HEY!

Every press release you read has a quote as the 2nd or 3rd paragraph. All of these quotes are invented by the author of the press release and attributed to, usually, someone else in the issuing organization, with their consent. It's a formula that's used because it works.

mmm, politics. Rule of the most dishonest.

MentalMoment 2008-10-03 05:38:30 PM
The "Famous Person" is Peggy Noonan? Person maybe; but famous? What kind of famous are we talking here?

Darth Lebowski [TotalFark] 2008-10-03 05:38:30 PM
I bet it was Not Sure.

Wombatzu 2008-10-03 05:39:07 PM
so i guess Peggy Noonan's penance for saying "It's over" on air was having the McCain campaign write her debate reaction for her.
