Good to see I wasn't the only one totally underwhelmed by the story.

the parrot fish should gargle and rinse with salt water afterwards.

So dentists are parasites, or parasites are dentists? I'm confused.

Most reefs have a cleaning station somewhere if you know where to look. It's a funny feeling if you ease up to it, remove regulator and open your OWN mouth and the cleaner shrimp come out and try clean you too.

Do they have large talons?

brianllama150 2008-09-28 11:58:10 PM
Well it would be very difficult unless it was an extremely big stick, but then it would be a branch really. But besides that they would probably be vaginal insertion, and, I don't know...what else is there to talk about?

I've seen these guys in action on the Great Barrier Reef. Note to Farkers: if you get the chance, go snorkeling or diving on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia at least once in your life. You won't regret it.

Probably killed it too. They should be left in the ocean, there just isn't enough food source in a standard >500 gallon aquarium to be able to sustain them since in large part they don't eat anything but parasites.

/getting a kick

Not so much I killed it as the people who take them out of the ocean. You're right though, they should never be in the home aquarium there's not enough parasites to sustain them in captivity. The only reason I brought one home is some of my fish were infested with parasites and after going back an forth on the ethical issue with myself I knew nobody was going to take it back to the ocean where it need to be.

Did a great job on the fish though. But after they were free of parasites my little friend went to the big fish tank in the sky.
